Excursions with departure from Genoa Porto Antico:

SPECIAL EVENING BOAT EXCURSION to admire the HISTORIC ECLIPSE OF AUGUST 12, 2026

In collaboration with the Astronomical Observatory of Genoa, this evocative three-hour evening tour, complete with an astronomy lesson, will allow you to observe the historic eclipse, visible only from the sea: a direct connection with nature and space.

At dusk on August 12th, before setting, the Sun’s light will be hidden not by the Ligurian Apennines, but by the slow and precise motion of the Moon, which will gradually and almost completely cover the solar disk and overlap it. While the rare and incredible sight of a total eclipse won’t be possible, the reduction of the solar disk to a thin crescent (94% coverage) will nevertheless be unforgettable for both adults and children.

Special glasses will be provided on board to safely observe the phenomenon.

EVENING TOUR TO ADMIRE GENOA FROM THE SEA AT SUNSET WITH LIVE MUSIC 2026

Evening tour departing at 7.15pm with live music, to admire the city of Genoa, the "Lady of the sea", sailing with the warm light of the sunset to the west up to the Lanterna, the tallest lighthouse in the Mediterranean and symbol of the Superb city, and then eastwards to Boccadasse, an ancient seaside village that makes you fall in love thanks to its pastel-coloured houses, wrapped in an embrace around a small bay. The return is expected at approximately 8.45pm. "Genoa seen from the sea is one of the most beautiful things you can see in the world. NIGHT EXCURSION BY BOAT TO ADMIRE THE STARS FROM THE SEA 2026

In collaboration with the Astronomical Observatory of Genoa, 3-hour night tours with astronomy lesson IN ITALIAN, to admire the stars on the romantic summer evenings.

After a brief illustration through projection on the screen and simulation program of the apparent movements of the celestial vault, we will observe the sky, lulled by the sound of the sea, to recognize the cardinal points, the planets present and the main constellations, also discovering information on their mythology and on the characteristics of some celestial bodies, thanks to the experts of the Astronomical Observatory of Genoa, to whom part of the proceeds will be allocated.

RECCO FIrEWORKS - FIRE FESTIVAL 2026

Night excursion to admire Liguria’s most famous fireworks display from the sea, the acclaimed Fire Festival which celebrates its final evening on the night of 8 September every year. A real competition between districts involving the best Italian pyrotechnic masters. The return to Genoa is expected at around 1.30 am.
